My Story

Hi, I’m Tyler.

I’m a photographer based in Derry, Northern Ireland. My work spans family photography, portraits and headshots, lifestyle and property photography, alongside landscape and personal work both locally and further afield.

Photography has always been about more than just images for me. It’s about paying attention, noticing detail, and creating photographs that feel honest and well observed rather than staged or overworked.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked with families, individuals, small businesses and organisations who want imagery that feels natural and considered. Whether I’m photographing people, spaces or landscapes, my aim is always the same. To create photographs that feel true to what’s in front of me.

Alongside my local client work, I also run small group photography tours and work as a web designer. Designing and building websites has sharpened how I think about visual storytelling, structure and clarity, all of which feed back into my photography. These different creative disciplines influence one another and shape how I approach each project.

I believe strong photography does not need to shout. It just needs to be thoughtful, well observed and honest. That’s what I try to bring to every shoot, whether it’s a family session in Derry, a portrait for a local business, or time spent photographing landscapes elsewhere.
